Our Summer School is scheduled from June 25 - June 30. It will take place in Austria at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences Campus Urstein, the workshops will also be accessible online. It is a joint cooperation of Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Haute École Libre Mosane (Liège, Belgium) and ASH Berlin.
Participants in presence will be granted access to selected events of the European Conference on Social Work Education with the topic "Social Connectedness - Contemporary Challenges and Opportunities" organized by the European Assocciation of Schools of Social Work.
Target Audience
Where you are from or how old you are does not matter. However, please note that we do not offer funding.
Therefore, the main target group are social work students (or students from similar disciplines).
Number of Participants
This year’s program will admit up to 40 participants.
Certificate and ECTS Credits
Every participant will receive 3 ECTS credits for taking part in this year’s International Summer School.
In order to receive a Certificate of Attendance with 5 credit points, students are required to write a 1.500 – 2.000-word paper discussing the main headline. The paper should be submitted in
advance and fulfill the standards of academic writing. An English level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is recommended.
Forms of Participation
Students of the three partner universities apply with their respective International Offices and will receive funding for their travel expenses.
Hybrid events
All other people interested in the topic of the summer school can follow selected events via video conferencing.
